MileGrams - June Rehab

How I felt at the beginning of the month

Daily morning rehab still-life

(Girly yoga mat with matching pedicure, stretch band, trusty exercise partner)

Early morning power walk at McCarren Park

(The track was empty at 5:30am except for a gang of bike messengers just getting off work and taking selfies.)

Attended the Team for Kids Marathon Basics Clinic

(Apparently, I should expect excessive chafing and I need to stock up on body glide.)

Weekend power walk companion and Number 1 supporter

(A more accurate statement would be "poor person who has had to put up with my misery."
Seriously, this guy deserves a million Papa John's pizzas and a medal.)

Finally allowed to alternate jogging with walking

(The sky was basically saying, "You Go, GURL!")

Stretching partner extraordinaire

(A+ for providing excellent emotional support and companionship. F for actually being helpful.)

Number 1 fundraising supporter!  She donated twice!

(Okay, okay. She forgot she donated the first time. I'm still counting it as a double.)

Staying strong with my rehab exercises after a 1.5 mile jog while in Charlottesville for a wedding

(No excuses! I now travel with a bag full of bands, yoga mat and foam roller.)

How I'm feeling at the end of the month

(Potential marathon celebration dance?)
